Collage: True Love Waits' 10th Year Anniversary Celebration

True Love Waits, an international sexual abstinence campaign, celebrated its 10th year anniversary on June 26 at Centennial Park in Nashville, Tenn. True Love Waits started in 1993 as a ministry of Lifeway Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Around 800 people gathered to hear from 1997 Miss America Tara Dawn Christensen, 1994 international pledge display participant Jessica Vaughn, and Christian comedian Keith Deltano. Christian bands and music artists including Shaun Groves, Barlow Girl, and Shadyn Maria who also appeared to encourage teens in keeping their commitment to God to remain sexually pure before marriage.
