LA Galaxy vs Comunicaciones Live Stream, Game Preview: How to Watch CONCACAF Champions League Soccer Online

The Los Angeles Galaxy and Comunicaciones meet at Stubhub Center as the CONCACAF Champions League continues. The match is on Aug. 18, 2015 at 10 p.m. ET.

In Group D of the competition, the Galaxy already had their first game done when they went head-to-head against Trinidad and Tobago's Central FC.

The Americans were not challeged at all as they put five goals past their rivals in a 5-1 thumping victory to sit atop the standings in the group. Alan Gordon opened the scoring in the game for the Galaxy, while Raul Mendiola made it 2-1 by the half. Three unanswered goals from the Galaxy converted by Gyasi Zardes, Giovani dos Santos and Ignacio Maganto completed the emphatic victory for the favoured club.

Now they are hoping that they can continue that streak against their Guatemalan rivals.

As for Comunicaciones, they recently ended their four-game losing streak in Liga Nacional with a 1-0 win over Antigua GFC.

The victory came at a great time as they are headed to California for a tough task against the Galaxy. Facing big names from the MLS and as well as known players from across Europe, Comunicaciones have a lot of work to do if they want to upset the tournament favourites.

However, one thing they can exploit is that these new names have not yet blended perfectly with the rest of the team, while Comunicaciones have played together for a while and may very well have better chemistry despite missing out on bigger names.

Players like Nelson Miranda should come up big for the Guatemalan outfit if they want to stand a chance against the Galaxy.

On the other hand, Los Angeles will undoubtedly rely on their proven strike force of Dos Santos and Robbie Keane should the need for goals ever arise.
