'Constantine' Season 1 Spoilers, Cast News: Matt Ryan Dishes Info on Season Finale and Season 2

The hit supernatural TV series "Constantine" is now one more episode away from its season's end. And while fans are hoping for another serving of the show, reports suggest that even its cast members don't have any idea if there would be any.

But before the TV adaptation of the Hellblazer comic series takes its bow, Matt Ryan speaks with ComicBook.com to share his insights about what to expect in the season finale and what other DC storyline he'd like to see should there be another season for them.

"Obviously, we have Papa Midnite coming back, and Corrigan as well. We're going to see a development with John and Jim's relationship. In the last episode with Jim, it was kind of Jim and Zed getting to know each other. I think in this episode you see John and Jim's relationship moving on to a different place," the actor told Comic Book.

"We also see a step toward Jim kind of being The Spectre in terms of his attitude, his outlook and his words, and that's quite exciting for the episode," he went on to reveal.

"It's a great story, the end is a great thing and we do reveal a little about the Brujería and what's going on there," he added.

As for the story arc he'd like to see in a Season 2, he mentioned two storylines: "Dangerous Habits" and the Family Man arc.

"My favorite arc from the comics is the "Dangerous Habits" arc, and I don't think that would be Season Two, I think that would be further down the line but that's something that I would really love to get to. It's my favorite run of the comics," Ryan said.

"I also love, and what could be a possibility for Season Two I think, is the Family Man arc," he went on to say.

For the meantime, the synopsis for this week's episode titled "Waiting for the Man" which will air this Friday, Feb. 13 on NBC, was posted on The Futon Critic where it reads:

"John and Zed (Angélica Celaya) return to New Orleans when Detective Jim Corrigan (guest star Emmett Scanlan) asks for their help in the case of a missing girl. Papa Midnite (guest star Michael James Shaw) takes steps toward exacting his revenge on John. Meanwhile, the truth behind the Rising Darkness comes to light."
