Courteney Cox Dating Brian Van Holt: Daughter Coco 'Extremely Comfortable' With Co-Star

Courteney Cox is reportedly dating her "Cougar Town" co-star Brian Van Holt. The pair has worked together for several years, but only began dating a short while ago.

"They've been going out for about six months," a source told Us Weekly.

The two were photographed at dinner and "acted like boyfriend and girlfriend" during the meal, an eyewitness said.

Van Holt has also been seen with Cox and daughter Coco, 9, who was "extremely comfortable with Brian. She treated him like a dad or an uncle," the source said.

Cox has not dated since her separation from husband David Arquette in 2010, though he accused her of having an "emotional affair" with Van Holt. The two never confirmed the allegation, though, and continued working together on "Cougar Town," which was recently moved to TBS.

Arquette, meanwhile, has moved on with girlfriend Christina McLarty. Rumors circulated that he is no longer sober and has returned to his partying ways after several years of sobriety. He has had trouble with alcoholism in the past but settled down when he married Cox.

The couple separated in 2010 but did not file divorce papers until June 2012, after 12 years of marriage. They agreed to share custody of daughter Coco and have managed to maintain a friendly relationship ever since their separation. Arquette and Cox met while filming "Scream" and fell in love, marrying in 2000.

Van Holt has had bit parts in popular series such as "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Homicide: Life on the Street." He has never married and loves living in California, as does Cox. Van Holt has spent time with Cox and even met her best friend, Jennifer Aniston.

"Cougar Town" has had a rocky time on TV. It originally aired on ABC but was canceled and picked up by TBS, where it just finished its fourth season. Fans of the show will be happy to know that it has been renewed and will air its fifth season in January 2014.
