Courtney Cox Promise: 'Cougar Town' Star Jokes About Nudity Amid Switch to Cable

"Cougar Town" actress Courtney Cox recently spoke out about the popular sitcom being moved from the ABC network to TBS in the coming weeks, and she has made a bizarre promise to viewers.

The 48-year-old is said to be pleased with the new network and even joked that being on a cable network will result in increased nudity. In "Cougar Town" Cox plays Jules Cobb, a 40-year-old, recently divorced, single mother.

''You will not see one scene that I don't show my boobs," Cox jokingly told reporters at a Television Critics Association panel for the show on Friday, Jan. 4.

''You know what? I'm getting older, so I've decided at this point I'm taking less focus [on] the face, and more [on my breasts. By the time I'm much older, I will just be absolutely nude. I think it's [going to] work for me, I hope," she went on.

Executive producer, Bill Lawrence, explained that Cox is indeed ready to take risks this season. He also joked about Cox having a desire to expose herself.

"There is one difference [with the show going to cable. I think I'm allowed to say ... Courtney did declare this the year of her cleavage," Lawrence joked.

Cox, who is also an Executive Producer on the show, appears to be intent on implementing changes in season four, which airs Jan. 8. In past seasons the actress' former "Friends" co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow have made brief appearances, and now Cox wants to see her former male co-stars on the show.

"I'd love to do something with Matt [LeBlanc]," Cox told Us magazine. "I'd love to see the rest of the cast."

"I catch reruns of Friends and I don't remember even being there," she said while reminiscing on her old gig. "I'm like, 'That is funny!'"
