Cressida Bonas Co-Hosting Royal Dinner With Prince Harry, Another Sign of Impending Engagement?

There are more signs that Cressida Bonas will be the next woman joining the British royal family. After appearing in public with boyfriend Prince Harry during several engagements, Bonas will be co-hosting an official dinner with Harry.

"Harry has told Cressida she is welcome to come along," a source told The Mail on Sunday. "Harry and his mates went through thick and thin together, so the dinner party will be a really relaxed and jovial affair. But there is no doubt that it will be a Royal banquet, albeit a private one."

It's just one more sign that the royal couple is becoming closer and could even be closer to making an announcement about an engagement sometime this summer. As reported earlier, Bonas has been extended an invitation to formally meet the Queen of England at her home in Balmoral.

"Prince Harry is expected to bring Cressida," a source at the Balmoral estate told Daily Mail. "It is the talk of the estate."

The special dinner hosted by Harry and Bonas will be in honor of war veterans, many of whom are close to the prince. The dinner will be held at St. James' Palace next week and will give her a chance to experience even more time in the royal world.

"An invitation such as this often signals that the guest is considered a royal bride-to-be," a source told In Touch Weekly.

Rumors have been surrounding the couple since they decided to settle down and have appeared much more serious. Bonas has joined Harry on recent outings and official events, prompting speculation that the "bad boy" has settled down and is ready to commit to one person. Harry has taken on a new job working at the Palace, combining his two passions: royal work and the military, which could be another signal that he is more ready to start a family.

When Bonas meets the Queen this summer, it could lead to an official engagement announcement.
