In a related casting report, series newcomer Jennifer Love Hewitt may not be returning after the current season ends.

In an interview with Zap2it, executive producer Erica Messer said that the whole cast will be safe as there will be "no major deaths" that will occur in Season 10.

"We're not doing a two-hour finale this year, but the end of episode 22 will have a cliffhanger that will play out in episode 23, which is our finale this year," Messer said.

Just as what people suspected, thing will come into full circle when the season ends.

"We will bring back the creepy, Internet stalker guy from the premiere. That story will be tied together," the executive producer further teased.

Messer went on to reveal that the finale "will be a very heavy episode for Kate (Hewitt)," which led many people to believe that this might be the end of the road for her character.

According to Enstars, the singer-actress "might like to take a year off to be with her newborn child, and might want to take a break from working."

For the meantime, "Criminal Minds" Season 10 Episode 22 airs this Wednesday, April 29 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
