'Criminal Minds' Season 11 News, Spoilers: BAU Team Takes On A Case Involving A Deadly Gas Attack

The 11th season of CBS' hit police-procedural drama TV series "Criminal Minds" has just premiered with an action-packed episode last week and this Wednesday, fans should expect yet another intense and suspenseful segment that will see the Behavioral Analysis Unit dealing with a deadly gas attack.

Titled "The Witness," the spoiler report from Design & Trend said that that BAU team will go to Los Angeles after receiving a report that sarin gas was used to attack a bus.

The promo teaser for the segment shows Garcia briefing everyone that 10 people were confirmed to have died because of the gas attack. Reid, Hotch and Derek can also be seen rummaging through the items found in the crime scene. Reid holds up a circular object that appears to be time-controlled, according to Hotch.

Although there's no one yet claiming responsibility for the transport attack, the BAU knows that they have to act quickly and figure out the next steps that the criminal will probably take as it appears that the suspect will lay yet another attack in the metropolitan area. This time, however, he/she will be releasing the gas that could virtually kill everyone within minutes, in a building with so many people inside.

Garcia, who is monitoring the suspect's activity, warns the agents to move quickly as the suspect can be seen entering the building with a large bag on his hand, which is assumed to probably contain a lot of sarin gas-filled devices.

A tensed Hotch can be heard ordering the units to evacuate the premises.

The episode, which is said to have a lot surprising twists and turns, will also feature two fresh faces joining the series. It was reported earlier that "NCIS" star Marisol Nichols will come over to the show as an LA-based FBI agent named Natalie Colfax. Meanwhile, "The Mentalist" star Tim Kang guest-stars as Charlie Senerak, a medical supply worker.

Catch the intense episode of "Criminal Minds" Season 11 this Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
