Shaken as the Real Madrid fans were after seeing the star player leave the field, they were elated when the said managed to claim victory over the other when Eder got them a 109th minute winner.

Kicking Back and Rehabilitating

Ronaldo, having leased a private yacht, basked under the Mediterranean sun for a week accompanied by his mother Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and his son Cristiano Rogando Jr. as stated by another article by the same website.

Apparently still undergoing rehab while vacationing in Ibiza and keeping himself fit, he abandoned his knee brace for a dip in the foamy seas on Tuesday, showing that the treatment for his knee has been nothing short of effective.

Keeping in touch with his fan base, he often posted pictures on his social media accounts, some of them showing the well-seasoned athletic body of his, some of them showing him and his companions simply enjoying everything their vacation had to offer.

Restlessness Amongst the Team and the Fans

Ronaldo, as explained in an article by Express, has always been fortunate enough to avoid major injuries, leading Madrid to believe that his luck had finally come to an end.

While his injury did not hinder Portugal from claiming a well-deserved victory, it still left the team and his fan base restless and itchy.

Ronaldo, donning a protective brace on his injured knee, posted a video on Instagram during his vacation in Ibiza, starting with, "Hi everyone! I just wanted to thank all my fans."

"I wanted to tell them that all is well and that I will come back much stronger," he spoke to the camera, "Thank you, long live Portugal!"

Said video somehow proved to ease his fans' fear, letting them know that their favorite star will be back on the field before they know it.

Back to the Field He will Go

According to Spanish sports daily Marca, Ronaldo's return to action before Madrid's third game of the domestic La Liga season is unlikely.

Ronaldo, however, says he intends to come back even stronger for the upcoming season.
