As it stands, Lisbon have a slight advantage after a 2-1 win in the first leg.

It was an exciting match from start to finish as the hosts came out in a blaze to score within the first 12 minutes of the match behind Teofilo Gutierrez with an assist by Bryan Ruiz.

Despite facing a deficit, CSKA Moscow still tried to bounce back and were awarded a golden chance which was converted by Seydou Doumbia after a pass from Roman Eremenko in the 40th minute of the contest.

The score remained the same throughout most of the match and the match's final goal came in the 82nd minute after Islam Slimani gave Lisbon the lead.

It would end 2-1 with Lisbon holding on with a victory, but Moscow still have a realistic chance to erase that deficit while having an away goal to lean on.

Furthermore, Moscow have been excellent in their Russian Premier League run as they sit atop their league table and have won all of their six league games. Even more impressive is that they have only allowed a total of three goals in their last six matches when playing as hosts.

On the other hand, Sporting Lisbon have only played two games in their Portuguese league and have won once and drawn the other. However, they have not tasted defeat in their last 21 matches in all competitions – a feat that they will hope to continue when they face Moscow.
