Cyber shopping Monday, or simply Cyber Monday, is expected to be a huge sales day for retailers, as customers shop online instead of bursting through store doors, like on Black Friday. The $1.5 billion expected to be spent today will be 20 percent higher than last year, according to a comScore report.

Although Cyber Shopping Monday is certainly a big shopping day online, there is still work to be done to find the very best bargains for a buck. Many shoppers have spent their money on deals that started Wednesday, splurged on Black Friday, and spent something on Small Business Saturday. Cyber Monday is about doing research.

"Cyber Monday is really all about doing your homework, and it really means looking for the really good deals," Marshal Cohen, a retail analyst, told ABC News. "If it's a really good deal, grab it."

Fortunately, The Christian Post has done a lot of your homework for you.

Some of the best deals on laptops, a popular Christmas item, are a Lenovo G580 15.6" for $359. Another great laptop deal from Lenovo is 33 percent off a ThinkPad T430, along with free shipping.

Digital cameras seem to make an appearance in many households come the holidays, and there are no shortage of deals to match. Try $10 a Cyber-shot W620 with free shipping from Sony, or 43 percent off a Nikon COOLPIX S3300 Silver 16 MP 6X, which comes out to $79.99 with the free shipping from Dell.

There are also great buys on TVs. Dell has 43 percent off a Samsung Series 5 60-inch 1080p Slim Plasma HDTV, which is $847.99 with free shipping. Another bargain is 45 percent off an LG 50-inch Plasma 1080p HDTV for $549.99 and free shipping.

Other stores that have sweeping discounts: Mattel has 20 percent off everything, free shipping on orders over $25; Nordstrom has 50 percent off apparel; Ashley Stewart boasts 40 percent off an entire purchase, and free shipping for orders over $50; The Limited has 50 percent off everything.

Hunting for deals is only one part of the strategy, however. Some little known tips and tricks also help get shoppers the best deal this Cyber Shopping Monday; for example, ShopRunner.com gives free 2-day shipping for over 70 online retailers.

Another helpful trick is to fill up the shopping cart, then empty it. Retailers will sometimes automatically send you a coupon to try to lure you back to the site to buy, giving you a discount.

Before doing online shopping, a very helpful tool is PriceBlink, a web-browser add-on for Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Safari. While shopping, it lets you know if there's a coupon for the item, and scans other websites for deals while you shop.
