Cynthia Bailey Responds To Kandi Burruss Wedding Rumors

Cynthia Bailey, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star and model, is responding to rumors that singer-songwriter and co-star Kandi Burruss eloped on their recent trip to Mexico.

"I was in Mexico and Kandi was in Mexico," Burruss revealed to cocoafab.com recently. "But I did not go to a wedding."

After producer Tucker shared images of a seating area that seemed suited for a wedding, Burruss' representative seemed to deny the claims to Hip Hollywood when the website stated, "Burruss' rep tells HH that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star did not tie the knot in Mexico, contrary to reports."

Burruss and Tucker began dating after the latter served as a producer on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" where the former stars. While season five showcased the pair's love story previews for the upcoming sixth season show that Burruss' mother may not support the union.

The Grammy-award winning songwriter previously spoke about her faith playing a part in her engagement to television show producer Tucker after years of putting all of her focus on herself and her 10-year-old daughter.

"I did not know or I guess I was hoping but I really wasn't looking for love. But I just felt like if it was meant for me God would just bring it my way," Burruss told CP. "I met Todd and he was a really cool person ... I remember asking him to pray with me one time when we first were spending a lot of time together."

For Tucker, Burruss' desire to pray with him was a confirmation that she needed to be in his life.

"For me to ask him to pray with me … for him that was something. It meant that this is the right situation that I need to be in," Burruss previously revealed to CP. "I guess that made him want to pursue me even more."
