Dallas Cowboys vs Detroit Lions: Watch NFL 2015 Playoffs Football Online (Fox TV Preview)

The Dallas Cowboys will host the Detroit Lions on Sunday in a huge NFL Playoffs 2015 First Round match up. This one is a tough one to call and could go either way depending on whether both teams come out all guns blazing or have one of their "episodes" that have hit them at various points in the regular season. Today's big game will start at 4.40 p.m. ET and takes place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The game will be shown on TV on the Fox network, but can also be watched online through live stream (details below).

The Lions will be disappointed to be here; after winning four straight games they had managed to battle their way into a winner takes all match up with the Green Bay Packers to see who would win the NFC North division. Detroit lost, dropping them down to the sixth seed position, meaning they had to face a road trip to Dallas to face the Cowboys in the intimidating AT&T Stadium.

However, Detroit will not make it easy for the Cowboys. Remember this is a team that ranked second in the NFL in defense for total yards allowed, and third for points allowed.

Much will depend on how the Lions can clamp down on DeMarco Murray and Tony Romo. If they lose the battles against those two, things are unlikely to turn out well for the Lions today.

At the same time, Matthew Stafford, who has had a reasonable but not explosive season, will need to up a gear or two if Detroit are going to progress in the Playoffs.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys won six of their final seven games to seal the NFC East division with a game to spare - no small accomplishment seeing as they had to fight off a highly fancied Philadelphia Eagles team to take the title.

Dallas look hugely impressive when they have Romo, Murray and Dez Bryant all firing at the same time, and if they can get that trio rolling in Arlington today then they should be able to inflict enough damage to Detroit to win the game.

The Cowboys cannot only rely on their offense though, and they will need to get in Megatron's face and not allow him anywhere near his average 130.5 yards per game posted through the regular season.

This game is a mouthwatering one, and a match up that makes the Playoffs so special. Either team could take this one, but the Cowboys - with home field advantage - must be considered the marginal favorites to progress.
