Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Redskins Live Stream: Watch NFL 2014 Football Online (Fox TV Schedule, Playoff Picture Preview)

The Dallas Cowboys will play the Washington Redskins on Sunday as both teams wrap up their NFL seasons, and even though there is nothing at stake for the Redskins, the Cowboys could steal the number 1 seed spot in the NFC if events unfold their way today. The game will start at 1 p.m. ET and takes place from FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland. The game will be shown on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream (details below).

The last three weeks have transformed the Cowboys. When they lost 10-33 to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13 not many gave them a hope of displacing the Eagles at the top of the NFC East.

However, three weeks and three wins later the Cowboys have now win the NFC East already and will at the very least win the number 3 seed spot for the Playoffs.

Impressive wins, 41-28 over the Chicago Bears, 38-27 over the Philadelphia Eagles, and 42-7 over the Indianapolis Colts have thrown the Cowboys even into talk of being serious Super Bowl contenders - something no one was talking about even at the mid-point through the regular season.

The Cowboys are ranked number 2 in the NFL for total rush yards gained per game, posting an impressive 145.3 yards per game. On pass they average 232.3 yards per game, ranking them a mediocre 17th in the NFL on pass offense.

Coming into the final week of the regular season, all but two Playoff places have already been secured. However, those that have already secured their postseason berth still have a lot to play for, with all but one current Playoff team still having something to play for this weekend in the NFL.

The New England Patriots are the only team that has nothing to play for this Sunday; they have already guaranteed themselves the AFC East title as well as securing a first round bye and home field advantage throughout the postseason.

Even the Indianapolis Colts, who appear to have nothing much to play for, can still technically gain some advantage from winning today. If they defeat the Tennessee Titans, and the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers play out a tie, then they could secure the number 3 seed placing.

The Denver Broncos also still have something to play for - they have not yet secured the number 2 seeding in the AFC. They will want to win today, because if they lose to the Oakland Raiders, and the Bengals defeat the Steelers then the Bengals would steal the No. 2 seed spot, dumping the Broncos into the first round of the Playoffs. Most expect the Broncos to defeat the lowly Raiders though, and if they do that then they are guaranteed the second seeding and the first round bye for the Playoffs that comes with it.

In the NFC meanwhile, there are no seed placements guaranteed yet coming into the final weekend of the regular season. There are still four teams in the race for the number 1 seed, and five teams are vying for the number 2 seed.

The Dallas Cowboys could gain the top seed placing if things go their way today, and at the very worst they would have to settle for a number 3 seeding.

The number 4 seed will be between the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons. The pair of course will be playing one another today in a winner takes all match up.

The Seattle Seahawks are favorites to take the number 1 seed, and they will do so with a win over the St Louis Rams. However, if they fail to gain the win they need then the door opens for the Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.

The Cowboys and Redksins will start the game at 1 p.m. ET and the game can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream by clicking here.
