'Dance Moms' Season 5 Spoilers, Season 6 Release Date: New Season to See Abby and Maddie Exit?
Rumours surrounding the departure of Abby Lee Miller, the feisty and popular dance teacher featured on Lifetime's "Dance Moms," along with her A-star protege, Maddie Ziegler, continue to keep us in suspense. Will they or won't they return for season six of the show?
The rumours began in June, when Abby Lee Miller made statements about Lifetime Network and work issues involving the production crew.
"Lifetime is a little in arrears on their payment plan with me personally, and so I think that will have to be taken care of first before we talk about season six," Abby said.

In the preview for the upcoming Season Five reunion show she says, "You go out when you're on the top. That's where this journey ends for me and a new journey begins."
Maddie Ziegler debuted on "Dance Moms," which made her famous. Now she has taken to acting in the Sia music videos "Chandelier," "Elastic Heart," and "Big Girls Cry."
"We just finished filming Season 5," she said in an interview with MTV Australia. "I'm not sure what's going to happen for Season 6. I don't know if I'm going to do it or not, so it just depends."
With statements by both Abby Lee Miller and Maddie Ziegler pointing to their exit, and after Abby's furious storming out of the competition during the last season finale, it remains to be seen if the new season of "Dance Moms" will be in for a major makeover.
We would like to think that these statements don't necessarily mean the exit of Abby Lee Miller from the show. She had recently posted a photo on her Instagram linking to the season six casting form and had posted an updated photo for an audition on the last day of ALCDCLA Bootie Camp on Aug. 17.
