'Dancing With the Stars' News: Bindi Irwin Flying High After Another Set of Perfect 10s in the Finale Night Part 1

When Derek Hough said that Bindi Irwin did not know how to dance at all when she started rehearsing for "Dancing With the Stars" a few months ago, it feels like it was years ago. Week after week, Bindi has proven that she can beat the odds, and the TV host showed she can learn how to dance quickly. She even scored perfect 10s almost every time she takes the stage, and she definitely nailed those perfect scores last night during the finale, just when it matters most.

Bindi first performed a quickstep with her pro partner, Derek, to the tune of Cherry Poppin' Daddies' "Dr. Bones," and then danced Freestyle to "Footprints in the Sand" by Leona Lewis. Both performances garnered perfect 10s from the three judges, Julianne Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli. According to ABC News, the male judge told the Australian TV host, "You danced from the heart and you touched everybody's souls ... and that is a great achievement."

On the other hand, Bindi is not the only one who got all 10s from the judges. Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess both got perfect scores for the two dance routines they performed last night, as well as the other dancing pair, Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson. The two pairs were tied with Bindi and Derek with all perfect scores at this point.

The only pair last night who did not get all perfect scores was Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold. The two only got triple 9s after they performed rumba to James Morrison's "The Pieces Don't Fit Anymore," but eventually got three 10s for their freestyle dance to OneRepublic's "Marchin On."

However, even if Alek and Lindsay scored less from the other three dancing couples, it was Carlos and Witney who ultimately said good-bye after getting the lowest combined judges' scores and public votes.

"Dancing With the Stars" will finally end tonight, Nov. 24, where the Mirror Ball trophy winner will be announced after a two-hour special on ABC.
