Carson Kressley has been eliminated from season 13 of “Dancing with the Stars” and fans have taken to Twitter in anger.
“DWTS” 80’s Week saw David Arquette and Kressley in the bottom two after it had been confirmed that other low scorers, Nancy Grace and Chaz Bono, were safe. Artists Kelly Clarkson and The Band Perry each performed before the elimination was announced.
Kressley and his dancing partner Anna Trebunskaya received Monday night’s lowest scores for their jive, and the former “Queer Eye For the Straight Guy” star is out of the running for the mirror ball trophy.
Fans expressed outrage on Twitter over the cut of Kressley, including user Mary writing, “How sad that someone as entertaining as Carson Kressley left and Chaz Bono remains. #dwts.”
Many fans are asking how Chaz Bono has remained on the show after having earned consistently low scores throughout the season.
“I am getting disgusted with DWTS, Chaz stays? Just crazy,” wrote Mike.
Diandra wrote, “Whyyy did Carson & Anna get voted off DWTS? Chaz needs to go!”
Glam Shop was disappointed to see the fashion expert go, and wrote on Twitter, “So sad to see @CarsonKressley leave DWTS Carson u brought so much to the show! I fell in love with you again! Praying u replace Regis!!”
Ty, on the other hand, wrote, “Well Im glad they got rid of Carson from #DWTS! Chaz and Nancy better be next!”
Ahead of the elimination, the show’s co-host, Brooke Burke-Charvet, posted on Twitter: “I’ll be so sad if I don’t get to see my funny friend @CarsonKressley in Broadway hits next week #DWTS! He cracks us up.”
“Dancing with the Stars” airs on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST. Next week will feature a Broadway theme.
