Dannielynn Birkhead, Anna Nicole Smith's Daughter at 'Smurfs 2'

Anna Nicole Smith's daughter Dannielynn Birkhead continues to follow in her late mother's footsteps as she hit the "blue" carpet at the "Smurfs 2" premiere over the weekend.

The 6-year-old is the only child of Larry Birkhead and Smith.

Alongside her father, Dannielynn attended the Los Angeles premiere clad in a "Smurfs" inspired dress and blue sandals, according to the Daily Mail.

The celebrity child made waves with her uncanny resemblance to Smith, who died in 2007 at age 39- just five months after Dannielynn was born- of an accidental drug overdose at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla.

"Smurfs 2" was not the first public outing for Smith's daughter. Over the past two years, Dannielynn has attended the Kentucky Derby- something her mother had done in the past.

Furthermore, the youngster recently starred in an ad campaign for Guess Kids this year, again following in her mother's footsteps- Smith modeled for the brand in 1992.

"Dannielynn has the same playful spirit that her mother had on set," said Guess creative director Paul Marciano in a statement.

Discussing his daughter's modeling career, Larry Birkhead noted Dannielynn's questions about her mother.

"Dannielynn had fun paying tribute to her mom with the Guess ad campaign, but it is back to school for her which is her focus," Anna Nicole Smith's former boyfriend told USA Today. "The first thing she asked is, 'When will I be on the shopping bags like Mommy?'"

Birkhead was named after her half-brother and Smith's late son, Daniel Smith. She lives with her father in Louisville, Ky.

Meanwhile, Smith's daughter may be entitled to $49 million of the late billionaire J. Howard Marshall's fortune. Her mother had married Marshall in 1994 when she was just 26 years old despite him being 62 years her senior.

After Marshall's death, the former Playboy model claimed that he promised to leave her with $200 million, but his will did not include it.

A California judge ruled in May that Dannielynn is "entitled to sanctions against Marshall's family," despite a Supreme Court's ruling against Smith's estate that overturned a $475 million award.
