'Daredevil' News, Update: New Image Leaks Showcase Matt Murdock's New Black and Red Suit

Filming for the highly anticipated second season of Netflix and Marvel's hit superhero drama series "Daredevil" commenced last month and is currently undergoing in New York City. To further hype up the excitement, the show's official social media site unveils Matt Murdock's (Charlie Cox) new crime-fighting suit.

The image, which was shared all throughout the media outlets including IGN.com, shows the costume colored with a combination of black and red. Beside it is Murdock's walking stick.

The show captioned the photo with the following:

Still in line with the costume, another image surfaced this week, this time from the account of a costume designing company, Manufacture New York.

The picture showed the costume worn by a person and was displayed to the full extent: one was standing while the other was squatting.

IGN divulged more information about the image saying that the snapshot was actually taken from a fashion trade show panel on costuming superheroes last week. In attendance to the event was the show's own costume designer, Stephanie Maslansky.

Maslansky was eventually barraged with inquiries from fans asking for her confirmation if the image of the costume was intended to tease Season 2. In one of her replies, she seemed to suggest that it is yet too early to take the hints.

As many have noticed, there is one thing that is apparent on both expositions of the suit: there's still no "DD" logo on the chest part.

Aside from the new gear, Season 2 is also slated to feature a handful of Marvel's comic book (and movie) characters including The Punisher and Elektra who will be portrayed by "The Walking Dead" star Jon Bernthal and "G.I. Joe" actress, Elodie Yung, respectively.

As reported earlier, the upcoming instalment will pick up right where Season 1 has ended, with Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) finally brought down.

"Daredevil" returns to Netflix 2016. Stay tuned for more updates.
