'Daredevil' season 2 plot news: Stick returns

The upcoming season of "Daredevil" is expected to see the return of a character introduced in season 1.

The successful Netflix series started off with a powerful premiere season, building a strong fan base. With that, expectations for the second season remain high, especially with the large amounts of spoilers shared all around the web surrounding the series.

One of the news for "Daredevil" season 2 teased the return of Stick, played by Scott Glenn. His character was introduced as Matt Murdock's mentor in the previous season. It was reported that Stick will be returning to Hell's Kitchen in the upcoming season. The official Twitter page of the series hinted the return of Stick when a photo was posted showing Stick and Matt sitting on a park bench. Another photo was also revealed, showing the bracelet that Matt made.

Even showrunner Marco Ramirez confirmed that Stick will be returning this season2. He said, "In some ways, Stick is to Marvel's Daredevil what Scott Glenn has been to film and TV — a magnetic and awesome force to be reckoned with. It's an honour to welcome him back, and the Daredevil team can't wait to unleash Scott's unique brand of badassery upon the world in season 2."

It was also shared that the will be seen in three episodes in the upcoming season, which will include the first two episodes. His appearance is expected to set the tone and plot of the upcoming season, given that he will present Matt's life with a new goal. However, it was said that it will not be something Matt is too set on becoming involved with.

Along with Stick's return, it was reported that Elden Hensen, who plays Foggy, and Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Karen, will also be reprising their roles in the series for season 2.

"Daredevil" season 2 is expected to return on Netflix in April 2016.
