The very talented Rachel Chan's upcoming debut album Go will be the best Christian album to come for its creativity.
Daughter of world renowned New York Times bestseller and preacher Francis Chan, the 15-year-old song bird's debut album consists of 10 tracks which Rachel co-wrote with seasoned producer Dave Lubben. The album is very consistent of creative songs that have deep meaning and even expresses day to day struggles in songs like "Even Here" and the album single "Prove It."
"Prove It" is very unique in its lyrics which proves God's love for all of us, for better or for worse.
Explaining the inspiration behind the song, she said, "I think kids my age find it difficult to abstain from drugs and physical relationships. I've seen many 'friends' or peers around me who try and get rid of their problems by getting drunk or high… as for my Christian peers, I think we struggle with disobeying our parents by arguing with them and rebelling against them. I think young Christian girls struggle with honoring their father and mother.
"That is one of the reasons why I wrote the song 'Prove It,' to put a sort of funny twist on what a godly relationship between father and daughter should look like."
The song, which releases this month, also features her father in a 30-second rap.

Another great song from the album, "Ready & Waiting" is a radio ready and very passionate song that sounds so personal and in touch with your heart, with its lyrics stating "It breaks my heart to leave you in a place you don't belong, and God knows I want to stand by you, but until the day you love what's true, I'll be ready and waiting."
Chan signed with in:ciite Media this past summer. Her debut album releases in January.
