David Copperfield and Chloe Gosselin Engaged

David Copperfield and his longtime girlfriend Chloe Gosselin are engaged to be married, according to reports Wednesday.

The famed illusionist confirmed plans to marry his French girlfriend while speaking to Hello! Magazine, but first dismissed his previous relationship with supermodel Claudia Schiffer.

"Oh, that was a long time ago," the 57-year-old said of his past high-profile relationship.

"Now I'm engaged and in a committed relationship with Chloe in my mind and in my heart," Copperfield added.

Copperfield and Gosselin, 28, share one daughter together; a three-year-old named Sky.

Despite the almost 30 years between their ages, Gosselin raved about her fiancé.

"I'm so lucky to have found David," she said. "There are very few people in the world like him. He's spent more than 30 years at the top of his profession. He's achieved some extraordinary things."

Gosselin also noted Copperfield's ability to stay grounded regardless of his success.

"People come up to him, tell him they admire him, that he's a role model for them- and he just smiles, because he's truly modest," the model gushed. "It's as if he doesn't realize how smart he is, the talent that he has."

Copperfield is not the only Hollywood celebrity to marry someone many years his junior. Bruce Willis married Emma Hemming in 2009 despite their 23-year age difference. The couple is currently expecting their second child together.

Kelsey Grammar is also married to a younger woman; his wife Kayte Walsh is 25 years his junior.

Perhaps the most famous celebrity marriage when it comes to age difference is that of Woody Allen. In 1992, the famed director had an infamous affair with Soon-Yi Previn, the adopted daughter of his wife at the time, Mia Farrow. Allen married Previn, a whopping 35 years his junior, in 1997.
