David Rose, Deaf and Quadriplegic Blogger, Exposed as Fraud
Described as 'Character' of Blogger's Psyche
The deaf, quadriplegic blogger, who won over the world has been exposed as a fraud, and David Rose is not even the blogger's real name. The anonymous blogger called "Nichole" recently admitted to the deception and how he got away with his scheme.
"David Rose" suffered from cerebral palsy and was also deaf, only able to communicate using his eyes. His sister "Nichole" was the primary communicator for Rose, setting up a Twitter account and blog for the young man. Late last week the announcement was made that "Rose" had died due to complications from pneumonia.
The world reacted with much grief and sympathy, calling "Rose" an inspiration and hero. But at least one person was suspicious of the entire scenario and began investigating "Rose's" story and was shocked by what she discovered.

To begin with the photo of "David Rose" that was posted on his Twitter and blog accounts was actually that of another young man named Hunter Dunn. Blogger Kristi-Anne tracked down Dunn's Facebook page and found him using the software "Rose" in order to communicate with his fans.
Adding to the mystery was the fact that a death certificate was never issued for "David Rose." According to the CHIVE, another website, "Nichole" is actually a man who came up with the idea of using "David Rose" for publicity.
"Nichole" revealed on Blogspot, "Dave was a character, apart of my psyche, and fame would soon reveal what it has revealed today. So the character passed. No celebrity or fame was intended in this ruse; it all came quite fast and was a total surprise," he explained.
"In hindsight it probably would have been better just to shut it all down and have everyone wonder what happened, but the final post was meant to have the effect it did. To inspire people to love and live a better life, and the public knowledge that it came under this false pretense takes it all away," he added.
