'Days of Our Lives' spoilers: Chad's difficult position gets him tangled with Stefano

"Days of our Lives" has definitely experienced quite a shock this week as the serial killer took its first victim, Serena. Her death left Chad (Billy Flynn) in a compromising position, being the last person seen.

According to Celebrity Laundry, spoilers reveal that clues to Serena's death will continuously appear and many of them will press Chad as the main suspect. Rafe (Galen Gering) will also be reinstated as a cop and he will find more evidence pointing to Chad, as well. Viewers of the show are aware that Salem Police Department has never been on top of things like this, and it's not impossible for Chad to have a murder pinned on him just for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

One of the options Chad could consider now is getting assistance from Stefano (Joseph Mascolo). However, everyone is aware that Stefano's help never comes for free, if not, comes at a steep price. Stefano has a history of being entangled in the DiMera family's past troubles, and he's always asked a repayment in the form of loyalty.

The spoilers also indicate that Stefano will only help Chad if he continues to pursue Abigail (Kate Mansi). The reason for this is that Stefano plans to use Chad's relationship with Abigail to acquire the property in Ireland. He feels that their relationship will overshadow Abigail's knowledge of the land's value. Stefano sees everything falling into place as he gets the land, while Chad gets the girl.

However, Chad knows that dealing with Stefano at this point is risky. If he pursues Abigail, then she will sooner or later face danger especially concerning the DiMeras. Although Chad's protective instinct is telling him otherwise, he may succumb to Stefano's offer as he doesn't have a lot of choice to escape from possible imprisonment.

Fans will have to await Chad's decision as Days of Our Lives airs every weekdays at 1 p.m. on NBC.
