Delirious? to Talk about 'Passion' Live

We’ve heard what religious leaders, from Pastors to Rabbis, had to say about the much anticipated film, The Passion of the Christ. Now, following a trend offset by Third Day after their internet endorsement of the film, through webcasting provider Essentialtalk, British pop/rock group Delirious? will also speak live about the film on Feb.9 at 8:30 PM CST.

The interview with Delirious? will be made possible through the “Live and Interactive” program at Essentialtalk.com, where 300 people are randomly chosen from among the event’s numerous registrants to participate in the program. Sign-ups for the program must be done by Feb.9 8:00 AM CST. John Styll, president of the Gospel Music Association, is host of the program.

Participants will be able to ask questions via email or phone to the band during the broadcast.

The band had played their song, “Majesty”, to a video introduction and trailer of Passion at last year’s Harvest Crusade.

"The movie is graphic, hard-hitting,” commented Delirious? bass player John Thatcher.

He added, “It brings home the truth of Jesus Christ's life. It's so easy to sanitize, water down, and make irrelevant, but hopefully this will bring it back home for everyone."

Delirious? will also play tracts from its new album, World Service, which will release Feb. 10.

Registrants will be able to access an archive of the broadcast with Delirious at Essentialtalk’s website, where they can also find a archive of the program with Third Day.
