Demi Moore recently wowed fans after stepping out publicly for a charity event in New York City, as the actress appeared to be healthy and in good spirits, contrary to recent reports.
The 49-year-old actress appeared unfazed by rumors that she is struggling to cope with her estranged husband Ashton Kutcher's new romance with Mila Kunis, and instead was happy to pose for photographs inside the Girls Educational and Mentoring Services Benefit Gala Wednesday.
Moore, who has remained out of the public eye since announcing her split from Kutcher in November 2011, wore a form-fitting dress and could not stop smiling as fans watched in awe. Her healthy appearance refuted claims made by People magazine that the actress was on a downward spiral and suffering from health problems.
The mother of three ended her 6-year marriage to Kutcher after reports of an affair, though their divorce is yet to be finalized. Kutcher, 34, has since moved on with Kunis, 28, and it was recently claimed that Moore was frustrated with their union.
"They're really serious," a source reportedly told Us Weekly magazine with regards to Kutcher's relationship with Kunis.
"[Demi's] not psyched about Ashton and Mila," the alleged friend said. "She was always insecure over the course of her marriage so yeah, it's hurtful that he's with someone he knew the whole time he was with her."
Just two months prior it was also claimed that Moore fears that Kutcher and Kunis may be planning to have a baby following statements that the "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" actress made about settling down.
"I do want a family ... I'd rather be in love and have a baby than a movie," Kunis recently told Glamour Magazine.
Kutcher and Kunis, who have begun dressing in matching attire, have been photographed on various dates in recent months, though they have yet to publicly confirm their relationship.
