Denver Broncos' Vernon Davis Accused of Cheating

On Monday, Vernon Davis of the Denver Broncos was accused of cheating on a 20-year-old by his fianceé Janel Horne, who has been with him for over a decade.

Davis, 32, scored the win for the Broncos at this year's Super Bowl and a month after his big win with the team, he signed a 1-year contract with the Washington Redskins. While he seems to be enjoying the thrill of the spotlight, Horne has put him on a tight spot after posting a photo of him and his alleged mistress.

A screen shot of the said post was obtained by Total Pro Sports and according to the controversial post by Horne, she's "over" the affair. The post accompanied by a side-by-side picture of Davis and his purported new girl reads: "When you give a man your all, 15yrs, 3kids, and you sacrifice your life and then he cheats on you with 20yr old child and lies on you @vernondavis @balleralert @julia_miranda #yourealiarandacheater #youwantedtobeoyighereyougo #lowselfesteem #imoverit #nothidingbehindyourlies."

While Davis has not responded to the accusation, he took to Instagram and posted a snap of the verse Leviticus 19:11 and captioned the image: "When people do these things then we should hold hands and pray for them #Letshelpthem by #praying."

The New York Daily News notes that it is unclear if Davis was referring to himself in the post or if he is implying that his fianceé is putting up lies against him.

Ever since Horne made the accusation, Davis had been sharing smiling selfies and ignoring some mean comments from followers who picked up on Horne's story regarding the rumored affair.

Davis currently plays tight end for the Redskins. The NFL player was first drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2006. At that time, he signed a contract of five years, with a total of $23 million on his back, making him the highest paid tight end back then.

During his younger years, Davis already played football and held various positions including defensive end, linebacker, receiver, and kick returner. As a junior, he already accumulated 35 receptions for 385 yards.
