Against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Broncos found themselves down in the late stages of the game but were able to bounce back to win 31-24.

In the win, Manning had a touchdown drive late in the game to tie the score before Bradley Roby picked up Jamaal Charles' fumble to score with less than 30 seconds left.

It was an intense game that showed the Broncos' grace under pressure to get the victory.

Now against a struggling Lions side, look for Manning to exploit their rivals' slow start.

Last year, the Lions were second in the league in allowed yards with 300.9 and were the best in allowed rushing yards with less than 70 a game.

However, the first two games this year have seen Detroit allow over 400 yards in the game and are 29th in the league in rush yards with 147.5 allowed each night. That is a startling figure.

The absence of Ndamukong Suh greatly diminishes Detroit's chances against high powered offensive teams, and that is exactly what the Broncos possess in their arsenal.

While many consider Manning to be in the late stages of his career, his vision and teammates work well to make them a threat each time they have possession.

Matthew Stafford is now listed as probable and his participation in the match should help Detroit boost their confidence against Denver.
