Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders takes place on Monday Night Football tonight as the NFL 2013 regular season concludes week 3. Peyton Manning and his Broncos will be hoping to continue their fantastic start to the season where they have blown away every defense they've come up against. The game will start at 8.40 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Broncos enter this clash with a 2-0 record having destroyed some very good teams on their way through to tonight's match up. In week 1 they opened up their season by smashing the Baltimore Ravens 49-27 in a game where the Ravens' defense just had no answer to Manning and his receivers. Manning picked out huge gaps at will and drove his team down the field endlessly, piling on the misery for the Baltimore fans.
In week 2 their game against the New York Giants was billed as a brotherly clash between Peyton and Eli Manning, however, on the day there was only one winner. Peyton blew away his brother, teasing the Giants defense all day long, and Eli and his Giants had no response. That game ended 41-23 to the Broncos, meaning they have scored a huge 90 points in their first two games.
They will want to pile on the points again today as they take on the Raiders, who in all honesty are not as strong as either the Ravens or the Giants.
The Raiders lost their opening game 17-21 on the road to the Indianapolis Colts, before bouncing back somewhat last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars 19-9.
However, the Broncos are no Jaguars, and they will test the Raiders' defense in a way they have not been tested so far this season.
Peyton Manning has completed 57 from 85 attempted throws for 769 yards and a hugely impressive nine touchdowns. He has picked out his receivers at will, with Demaryius Thomas receiving 10 for 213 yards at an average of 21.3 yards and two touchdowns. Julius Thomas has received 11 for 157 yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, Wes Welker has also been used effectively by Manning, and he has received 12 for 106 yards and three touchdowns.
