Chicago Bulls News, Rumors 2014: Derrick Rose in Good Shape to Play for Bulls in New NBA Season

The Chicago Bulls' Derrick Rose is looking highly confident with his health and is ready to play in the 2014-15 season. This is good considering that he had only played a measley 10 games in the last two seasons because of two major knee injuries.

"I try my hardest to stay away from the predictions. But we know we have an opportunity ahead of us. It may not be this year, it may not be the next year or whatever, but I know that we have one in us," Rose said. "I know I'm going to win a championship soon so I'm not worried about that."

Many believe that the Bulls have a legitimate chance at winning the championship this season, especially with a healthy Rose, former All-Star Pau Gasol, and All-Star Joakim Noah in their team's roster.

Still, even with Gasol and Noah in the team, it all rests on the fact that Rose will have to stay healthy for the whole season if they are going to have that chance at the championships. He has also accepted the fact that he will be answering questions regarding his health for the entirety of the season, especially with the injuries his body has been going through for the past two years.

"With these two type of injuries, of course that question … that's just going to come up. I'm not worried about that. I don't care about twhen people ask me the queston I know that it's always going to be there. I'm always going to have to answer this question for the rest of my career so I'm not worried about that," Rose said.

The Bulls player had taken his first step into rehab early this summer while participating in the FIBA World Cup for Team USA. While his performance during the games weren't exactly stellar and was only playing for minutes at a time, the Bulls are confident that he will get his rhythm back once he steps into the court for the 2014-15 season.
