'Destiny 2' News: On the New Weapons and the MIDA Multi-Tool

Developed by Bungie, "Destiny 2" has received overwhelming support from the community after the game title proved to be one of the best online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game. Recently, fans were treated to Faction Rallies, which gave them a chance to form a sense of comradery with their fellow players.

Now, Bungie is working hard in processing the feedback from the fans, and they have revealed that they will be addressing the weapon balance of the game on different consoles.

"Since the launch of Destiny 2, we have been reading your feedback, spectating streams, and watching YouTube videos," said "Destiny 2" senior designer Jon Weisnewski in a statement. "Very recently, we received our first real batch of player data from our analytics team. We've also been shoulder-to-shoulder with you in the trenches daily, playing the ever-loving crud out of this game. We're not ready to go into detail about any weapon or ability tuning at this point, but there is an ongoing process in play."

Although Weisnewsky was determined to remain as tight-lipped as he can on the issue, he did confirm that several weapons have not been released as of yet. The possible list includes some guns. Furthermore, the team is focused on studying the MIDA Multi-Tool, which seems to be the popular choice of the fans in the game.

Weisnewski also said that considering it has been just a month since "Destiny 2" was released, the fans' feedback would be much appreciated so that the team can get to work on what they should be seen in the game. So far, "Destiny 2" is having a successful run, with millions of copies sold worldwide.

While waiting for the new weapons to land in the arsenal, "Destiny 2" just recently released a new sandbox of weapons and abilities that fans can experience. "Destiny 2" is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
