'Destiny 2' News: PC System Requirements, Release Date, and Launch Schedule

First released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, "Destiny 2" amassed quite the following after a month of giving fans an idea of what it is capable of offering.

Developed by Bungie, the game title is expected to make a release for the PC, and recent reports have revealed that the developers have finally been able to set a date. System requirements were also given, as well as the opportunity to pre-load the game so that fans can jump right into it once it officially launches.

The launch trailer released for "Destiny 2" features what to expect for the PC version of the game. Considering that they have been working hard to optimize the game title for it, fans have been bringing in the hype since it was announced.

Recommended specs for "Destiny 2" on PC are the following: 64-bit version of Windows 7, 8.1, or 10, 64 GB of free storage, 3.4 GHz Core i5-2400 or 3.5 GHz Core i5-7400, 4 GB GeForce GTX 970 or 6 GB GeForce GTX 1060, and 8 GB of RAM.

There are variations for those using AMD, and Bungie has previously stated that the minimum specs required are 6 GB of RAM, 3.5 GHz Core i3-3250 or 3.5 GHz Pentium G4560, and 2 GB GeForce GTX 660 or 2 GB GTX 1050.

Further reports reveal that "Destiny 2" for PC will have support for the 4K resolution, uncapped frame rates, as well as the capability to adjust the users' perspective to a three-monitor gaming rig. "Destiny 2" will also be available for pre-load beginning on Oct. 18, which is good news for those looking to start playing as soon as Bungie allows it.

Gamers will not be able to play the game until Oct. 24, when it is scheduled to launch at 1 p.m. EDT through Blizzard's Battle.net. In the meantime, fans can enjoy the PS4 and Xbox One version of "Destiny 2."
