Destiny House of Wolves DLC Release Date: Second Major Add-On Unveiled

The second major expansion pack for Bungie's multi-million first-person shooter game "Destiny" is said to launch "in the second quarter of 2015," according to the press release posted on the official Bungie update website.

A report from Gamespot.com indicated further that the DLC named House of Wolves would particularly be released to the public "within the April-June" dates.

Despite initial rumors about the upcoming content, the studio still maintained their silence about the expansion's specific details.

"We're keeping all other details under wraps for now," the developer told Gamespot. "There is a special team here that's dedicated to creating some new ways for you to play Destiny. They're also making the game you know a better reflection of what we've learned about you since you've started playing."

"While they do their thing, we'll walk the fine line between making you a part of the process and providing them with a safe place to explore possibilities and do their best work."

Another update from the game review website meanwhile revealed that fans should expect more upcoming extensions after the first 2015 DLC.

Citing Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg, GS said there's still "more after that (House of Wolves)."

"We have a second [Destiny] expansion on the way, and a major content release coming in the fall," Hirshberg said. "And a very robust pipeline planned after that."

Bungie already informed the public about their 10-year, "Lord of the Rings-sized vision" for the game title.

House of Wolves is the follow-up of the first expansion pack called The Dark Below. The latter was launched in December 2014.
