The Kanai's Cube is the origin of Diablo II's Horadric Cube. This ancient artifact is deemed more potent where it allows players to "break down Legendary items and equip their special effects as passive skills," transmute crafting materials from one type to another, and more other functions.

The much-improved Crafting System in Patch 2.3.0 will also make the crafting process easier for the players to complete.

The new patch will remove the Realm of Trials but the Bonus Acts in Adventure Mode games will grant players a number of bonuses like the Horadric Cache which contains crafting materials, gold, and "additional Act-specific crafting mats."

Overpowered characters can now take on different levels of difficulty. Blizzard is now adding four new Torment levels that could go up to Torment level X, the present of which is only at level VI.

Players should also expect new legendary and set items to loot from their kills which may also include improvements on existing ones.

Combat Changes are also focused on this game update. Basically, monsters that take more time to kill are expected to give more experience. Meanwhile, those which are relatively easy to subdue provide less.
