Diane Kruger Engaged to Joshua Jackson?

Diane Kruger kicked up rumors of an engagement to her longtime boyfriend Joshua Jackson after wearing an enormous diamond ring on her left hand this week.

The German-born actress and Jackson have been dating for almost eight years, and coupled with her diamond ring, reports are suggesting Kruger will soon be a bride.

However, Kruger's 18-carat pink gold ring with 2.51-carat diamonds turns out to be from the Bulgari Serpenti collection, making it very unlikely that it is an engagement ring, according to Hello! Magazine.

Despite their longstanding relationship, both Kruger and Jackson have dismissed past rumors of an engagement, and agree that they have no plans to marry.

Furthermore, Kruger, who divorced French actor Guillame Canet in 2006, has been quoted saying she does not believe in marriage.

"Without sounding pessimistic, I learned that I don't believe in marriage," the actress said in 2011, according to Glamour magazine. "I believe in a commitment that you make in your heart. There's no paper that will make you stay. A guy friend of mine said, and it made a lot of sense, that people should get married at the end of the road, not the beginning."

Alternately, Jackson revealed his view on modern marriage while speaking to E! News.

The "Dawson's Creek" star explained that marriage "is important for the people that it's important for, but neither of us are particularly religious so I don't think that there's any particular push."

Nevertheless, Jackson added, "But never say never," according to E!

Meanwhile, Kruger is best known for her role as Helen in "Troy," as well as her roles in films such as "National Treasure" and "Inglorious Bastards."

The actress has references her interesting roles while speaking about her reality.

"There's never going to be a role more interesting than my own life," she said while speaking to Marie Claire.
