'Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth' Release Date Announced, Pre-Order Bonuses Detailed

Good news for everyone who has been waiting for the arrival of the video game "Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth." Publisher Bandai Namco has already announced the release date of the game. According to International Business Times, the game will be made available in North America and South America on Feb. 2 for the PlayStation 4 and the PS Vita.

As reported by The Koalition, the game features turn-based battles. And of course, the famous monster collection aspect is there which will surely please Digimon fans as there are more than 200 Digimon creatures to recruit and train.

The game is also somewhat designed to introduce the series to a modern audience while at the same time entertaining older fans of the franchise. Aside from the release date, the team behind the game also gave information about their pre-order bonuses.

PlayStation Lifestyle said that those who pre-order the game for PS4 at a retailer will be able to receive bonuses which includes a black color variant for Agumon and Gabumon, Agumon "Tachi Yagami" costume set and Agumon male and female "Hero" costume set. Aside from that, the bonus pack will contain two new Digimons, Beezlebumon (Blast Mode) and Cherubimon, which are exclusive to the Western release of the game.

There will also be a useful item set comprising of Hunter USB, Full Revive x2, which can recuperate all fainted Digimons 100 percent HP, Brave Point C x3 which will give one Digimon +10,000 EXP. However, the Vita version for the game will not have a physical release. Instead, it will only be available for download on the PlayStation Network.

Sources say that players can expect that once in the game, they will be able to travel between the real world and digital world. This is actually a first time for a "Digimon" game. Moreover, the upcoming game will feature a much darker theme compared to the previous ones.
