The Casey Anthony case, which lasted almost three years, has reached people on a personal level; everyone has an opinion but did her now almost celebrity status influence the verdict on some level?

The 25-year-old mother was acquitted of first-degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. The jury also determined Casey was not guilty of aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child. She was found guilty only on counts 4-7 for providing false information to a law enforcement officer.

While the final verdict brought tears and joy to Casey, many flooded Twitter and other social networking sites expressing disappointment and feeling that justice was not served for the young toddler.
