'Doctor Strange' Rumors: Movie to Feature an Infinity Stone?

In what could be one of the most exciting rumors that recently emerged about "Doctor Strange," it is said that the movie will likely introduce another Infinity Stone to further make a connection between the Marvel worlds.

As far as the Marvel superhero realm is concerned, there have only been four Infinity Stones introduced, meaning there are still two left hiding somewhere in one of the many movies lined up.

Recently, fans started thinking that Benedict Cumberbatch's Dr. Stephen Strange may be the person who will uncover the fifth Stone that Thanos has been trying to collect. As comic book fans know, the Stones are very important to its owner as it has immense powers that could be used in various ways.

Due to Kevin Feige's recent comments about the Eye of Agamotto, which is a relic that will be featured in "Doctor Strange," fans speculated that it may actually be one of the sacred Stones.

Marvel may have picked a reasonable story to unveil the sixth Stone since Strange will be using dark magic and other powers to help him in his mission to save lives. His dramatic storyline is a perfect match to the essence of the Stone that holds the ability to change lives whether in a good or bad way.

Meanwhile, Benedict Wong was recently confirmed to join the cast as Wong, Strange's ever loyal sidekick who has been with the Sorcerer Supreme for most of his career. Aside from his healing abilities, Wong also has a knack for fighting and is skilled in martial arts.

Aside from the news of Wong's role, fans are also excited to know more about Mads Mikkelsen's character. As of now, the only official news about the spectacular "Hannibal" star's role is that he will be the main villain, and just like Strange, he is also skilled in the art of sorcery.

Fans will have to wait further for news of the character's name and other details about the Infinity Stone rumored to be unveiled by the dark doctor.

"Doctor Strange" is scheduled to hit the big screens on Nov. 4.
