Dove Hits 2004 Releases on April 20, 2004

This year’s top songs from the Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Award-nominated songs and artists will be featured in the upcoming release of Dove Hits 2004. This collection containing eighteen songs will be the third Dove Hits project and will contain last year’s Dove nominees Mark Schultz, Michael W. Smith, MercyMe, Third Day, and more. It will be a record of the history of Christian culture’s top musicians and songs.

Through a special contest on the internet at www.dovehits.com, the release of this album will be promoted. Consumers can vote for their favorite artists and songs for the 2004 Dove Awards winners in ten categories. With their ballot, they will be entered into a drawing to win great prizes such as the grand prize, the iPod mini, or a CD collection of all the albums form the Dove Hits 2004 artists. Join in the excitement anytime from April 2 through April 27.
The album will contain songs from renowned Christian artists and talented new artists alike.

The tracks in the CD will include Jeremy Camp’s "I Still Believe" (Tooth & Nail); MercyMe’s "The Change Inside Of Me" (INO); Michael W. Smith’s "Signs" (Reunion); Stacie Orrico’s "Strong Enough" (Forefront); Mark Schultz’ "Letters From War" (Word); Randy Travis’ "Three Wooden Crosses" (Word); Newsboys’ "He Reigns" (Sparrow); Across The Sky’s "Found By You" (Word); Joy Williams’ "Every Moment" (Reunion); Smokie Norful’s "I Need You Now" (EMI Gospel); David Phelps, "Arms Open Wide" (Word); Steven Curtis Chapman’s "All About Love" (Sparrow); Jars Of Clay’s "The Valley Song (Sing Of Your Mercy)" (Essential); Robert Randolph’s "I Need More Love" (Warner Bros.); Casting Crowns’ "American Dreams" (Beach Street); Kristy Starling’s "Something More (I Need To Praise You)" (Word); Jaci Velasquez, "Jesus Is" (Word); and Third Day, "You Are So Good To Me" (Essential).
