Dragon Age: Inquisition Review: Game Receives Outstanding Feedback From Critics

BioWare's "Dragon Age: Inquisition" is no doubt one of the best games of 2014 with its huge, expansive world, wonderful cast of characters, and engaging combat. The title has garnered mostly positive reviews, leaving very little for gamers to complain about.

The game was released on November 18 for the PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 platforms.

Vince Ingenito from IGN had reviewed the game and gave it a score of 8.8 out of 10. Good points of the game include "beautiful, massive world," "tons of content," "true RPG depth," and "strong combat."

Indeed the world seems hugely expansive, as Ingenito writes as his verdict.

"When I'd finally slain my first dragon in 'Dragon Age: Inquisition," I felt a little sad at the thought that I was probably beginning to exhaust its seemingly endless stream of content. But then I saw the quest ticker: 'Dragons Slayed – 1 out of 10,'" he said.

"In all my hours, I had only ever seen three. It's a surprisingly huge, dense world, and I soon realized there were still entire sandboxes I hadn't even set foot in. Even in my hundredth hour, I'm still discovering," the reviewer added.

Kevin VanOrd from GameSpot gave the game a 9 out of 10 writing the game as having a "wonderful cast of interesting and relatable characters," "overarching narrative and diverse environments [to] create a cohesive world," "choices that lead to adventure, triumph and heartbreak," with "lots of big areas to explore, with lots of great secrets to uncover."

"'Dragon Age: Inquisition' is a wonderful game and a lenghty pilgrimage to a magical world with vital thematic ties to one we already know," VanOrd writes in his verdict.
