'Dragon Ball Super' episode 8 plot news: New character will be introduced

Details of the anime series "Dragon Ball Super" reveal that there is a possible new addition to the character roster.

The previous episode 7 of Dragon Ball Super was titled "How Dare You Hit My Bulma! Vegeta's Furious Mutation?!" It showed the Z warriors battling against Beerus, during Bulma's birthday party.

As for episode 8, it was released that new characters will be introduced. It stated that Champa and his attendant will be joining the characters. Champa is a humanoid alien cat. He is similar to Beerus with their Egyptian attire of red pink palette. Champa will be joined by a female attendant who looks similar to Whis.

The entire manga chapter was released, which showed Goku preparing for his fight with Beerus. He then realized that Beeurs is planning to head to Earth to know more about the "Super Saiyan God."

Meanwhile, Gohan, Gotenks, and Picollo, along with other characters, will be battling Beerugeta then stops the fight by explaining that Beerus is the most powerful being in the universe and challenging him will result to bad happenings. While they fight, Kibito Kai watched them from Earth. However, he then realizes that Champa had gone and destroyed a planet with his attendants when they were looking for "wish orbs."

The episode after that will be called "Sorry About the Wait, Beerus-sama – Finally, Super Saiyan God is Born!" Fans can expect that this will see Son Goku's Super Saiyan God form. However, it has not been confirmed whether this is true.

Henry Thurlow, the animator of the series, also addressed the issue of the quality of "Dragon Ball Super." He said that this was due to the labor situations of artists and animators since they work almost 10 hours/6 days a week for one episode.

Dragon Ball Super episode 8 will be shown on Aug. 30, while episode 9 will air on Sept. 6.
