'Dragon Ball Super': Goku Convinces Krillin to Join His Team, Tricks Android 18

Goku and his gang will continue looking for possible fighters to complete their 10-man team so they can participate in the Tournament of Power. In the upcoming episode, Goku and Gohan will visit Krillin to test his skills and see if he has a shot at victory in the upcoming tournament.

In the previous episode of "Dragon Ball Super," Whis tried to convince Goku and the other fighters to concentrate on the warriors on Earth since they knew very little about the fighters from other planets. While Goku and Gohan already had their own prospects as to who would join their team, they still wanted to formally extend their invitation to them to see if they would be willing to participate.

In episode 84, Gohan and Goku will visit their first two prospects, Krillin and Android 18. Gohan will initially be hesitant to take Krillin on board since Hercule previously mentioned to him that the bald fighter already stopped doing martial arts long ago.

Spoilers suggest that Goku will spar with Krillin and despite the latter's defeat, the former will still include him in their 10-man team because he believes that Krillin still has a lot of tricks up his sleeves.

The preview for the upcoming episode shows Goku sparring with Krillin and even turning into Super Saiyan Blue. It also reveals that by the end of their fight, Krillin will be the one on the losing end.

Other spoilers for episode 84 reveal that as Goku invites Krillin to be part of his team, he also has to convince his wife, Android 18. According to reports, the android will initially reject Goku's invitation. However, she will change her mind when Goku lies about the tournament offering 10 million as a monetary award for the winning fighter. This doesn't come as a surprise for fans since Android 18 has always been known for going after monetary prizes.

"Dragon Ball Super" airs Saturdays, 9:15 p.m. EDT on Crunchyroll.
