Capcom also announced the conduct of alpha test for the game on the PlayStation 3 platform only. Sign-ups for the limited alpha test started April 7 and accepted testers will be notified after a week on April 15. The test will run from April 20 to 28, to be followed by a published report on the results of the test in the early part of May.

The report says that Capcom intends to conduct its own closed beta tests on the PlayStation and PC platforms after the PS3 alpha test. These tests will reportedly run during summer but there is no word yet on how and where testers can apply for testing slots, if they will be opened up.

Capcom has not yet given an official release date for the game, which it says will be released within 2015 in Japan. No official word about when it will be released for other parts of the world.
