Drake, the 26-year-old rapper, is finally addressing his issues with 23-year-old singer Chris Brown close to one year after the two engaged in a physical altercation at a New York City nightclub.

Drake, the Canadian rapper born Aubrey Drake Graham, spoke up about Brown while on East Village Radio's "Keep It Thoro" show recently. Although Brown has been vocal about his issues with Drake during recent promotional interviews, the latter seemed hesitant to address the origin of the issues with his fellow musician.

"Don't ask me (expletive) about that man when I come up there. Leave that man alone. Stop preying on his insecurities," Drake said on the radio show. "His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him. I'm more poppin' than him."

The rapper went on to speak about his own relationship with Brown's longtime on-and-off again girlfriend Rihanna and how it caused a rift between the two males.

"At one point in life, the woman that he loves fell into my lap," Drake said on the radio show. "I did what a real (expletive) would do and treated her with respect. She's not up there talking down on me."

The rapper urged people to stop fueling the issues between he an Brown, saying that nothing good could come from the situation. Since Brown is a singer, Drake said he should stick to doing just that.

"I don't want to hear that man rap," Drake said on the East Village radio show. "Nobody wants to hear me rap against him. I really do this (expletive). Let him put out that, whatever, Project X or whatever he's working on and I'm going to put out that real (expletive) for the people."

Brown addressed his own issues with Drake during an appearance on the New York City radio "The Breakfast Club" recently.

"At the end of the day I don't hash on ... dudes can say whatever. I'm not a rapper. I'm gonna say what I want, like whose gonna beat me up," Brown questioned. "Honestly I think he's a cool dude as far as music. It's not even a thought, people just don't like certain people. He don't like me and I don't like him."
