Actress Drew Barrymore and her fiancé Will Kopelman have released a photo of the two showing off her engagement ring on Friday.

Rumors emerged over the holiday period that Barrymore had gotten engaged, and the latest release by the couple seems to confirm those rumors.

Representatives for Barrymore released the photo, showing the 36-year-old and her beau together with her diamond ring on her left hand.

Reports have suggested that Kopelman, who is an art consultant, proposed to the E.T. actress over the Christmas period in the resort town of Sun Valley, Idaho. The engagement comes after the couple dated for about one year.

The news means they join other celebrities who are planning on tying the knot this year, including Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel. Timberlake and Biel have been rumored to have also gotten engaged recently by various media reports. However, neither of the stars have publicly confirmed the engagement yet.
