One gamer, among the rest of the complainants, asked developer Paul Rustchynsky of Evolution Studios about the possibility of the studio compensating players for their frustrations in the form of complimentary DLC or of the same sort.

Rustchynsky responded that the issue is currently being addressed.

"We're considering all of our options right now," he tweeted.

When asked further about whether or not the game server's capacity is the root cause of the connection problems, the studio's representative answered, "We've got no limits to the amount of servers of the quality of hardware; it's purely down to the server code having some bugs."

Christian Today meanwhile reported the studio's announcement in their Facebook page saying that more and more players are now able to access the online mode of the game.

"Continual upgrades to the DRIVECLUB servers are building a steady increase in performance, meaning that we're getting more and more players connected," the statement read.

The next server update is coming within 24 hours and will mean we can start to switch on more of the online features, so that you will be able to play more of DRIVECLUB online.

"We are sorry that we don't have more concrete news to share right now, but please be patient. We will have more information for you tomorrow," they continued.

The media outlet further indicated that Evolutions Studios is scheduling another server update this coming Wednesday.
