The investigation says that the Volkswagen rolled backwards, from the hill down to its unusual position, as seen on the first photo above.

Passers-by immediately called the Police's attention to act on the situation before it can cause injury to people and to other infrastructure. Shortly after the call, two police officers stood by and kept an eye-watch to the area of responsibility.

Around 6 p.m. that day, a recovery vehicle made its way to the site to help clear the situation.

According to police investigation reports, no injury was caused to anyone when the incident happened.

Although the case did not instigate any harm, authorities in Glasgow urge motorists to always check their gear if it is set in neutral mode. This is to prevent untoward incidents in the future.

Three Most Unusual Car Parks in the World

If this unusual "parking" style situation amazed you, then these exceptional car parks may also steal your hearts.

1) Wolfsburg's Volkswagen Autostadt

This very rare car storeroom is located in Germany's Volkswagen-dedicated theme park. The theme park owner constructed two towers of these, with 20 floors each. Customers who picked the Volkswagen model of their choice can immediately get the car from its dedicated silo with the use of the towers' robotics. The selected car will be singled out from the apiary of VW cars.

2) Michigan Theatre in Detroit

Contrary to the ever-advanced design of Germany's Autostadt, the Michigan Theatre in Detroit boasts off its quaint and archaic architecture design. It was originally scheduled for demolition, however, engineers of the adjacent infrastructures decided to retain its picturesque structure.

3) Q Park Charles Street

This car park is famously known as the "Cheesegrater" due to its unique, rough and brassy façade. The lighting effect of this car park is really impressive – it has green lights on the floor which illuminates the exteriors at night. It is located in Sheffield, England.
