Driving Dog Bus Stunt Shocks Pedestrians in Australia

A two-year-old dog has learnt how to drive a double-decker bus after watching his owner. The German Koolie called “Woodley” was spotted driving a 20-ton bus through the streets of Darwin in Australia recently as shocked pedestrians watched on.

The incident has caught the attention of media over the world. Owner Richard McCormack, 62, described how Woodley unlocked the handbrake and started driving the car down the street.

"He sits next to me when I'm driving and in the driver's seat when I'm not," he told the NTnews.

"The handbrake is on the dashboard and he's seen me release it many times.”

He added: "This was weird, even for the Northern Territory."

Luckily no-one was injured during the incident, and Woodley’s driving resulted in no damage to any buildings or public property.

However, it is sure that owner Richard McCormack will be keeping a closer eye on his copy-cat dog in the future. He added: “He’s still my best mate.”
