Duchess Kate's New Year's Eve Celebration Revealed

The Duchess of Cambridge celebrated New Year's Eve a little early this year alongside her sister, Pippa Middleton.

Also known as Kate Middleton, the Duchess just celebrated her first Christmas with she and Prince William's firstborn son, Prince George, but the partying did not end there.

On Monday, Middleton joined her younger sister Pippa at a casual fete in their hometown of Bucklebury, People.com reported.

"Kate looked incredible," one partygoer revealed. "She was very jolly and very happy."

The Duchess has a lot to be happy about these days- she and her husband will celebrate their third wedding anniversary this year, and a few months later in July, their son will turn one.

Moreover, the 31-year-old "has really got her figure back," the source added.

"If anything she actually looks better now than before she had Prince George," the insider continued, according to People. "The thing that really strikes you is that she is just so normal and smiley. There are no lights on Kate here, so she can be totally relaxed and herself."

Middleton is well known for her looks- she is considered a fashion icon and has even influenced a trend in plastic surgery with women requesting a nose similar to hers.

Nevertheless, the royal remains modest.

"I came away from the party thinking, 'She looks really happy,'" the source noted. "Kate is glowing and full of life."

When it came to Middleton's Christmas celebrations, the Duchess spent the holiday with other members of the royal family including Queen Elizabeth II.

On Christmas morning, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a traditional service at St. Mary Magdalene Church alongside other members of the royal family such as Prince Harry, the Duke of York and the Duke of Edinburgh, a heavily pregnant Zara Phillips as well as her husband Mike Tindall.

It is believed that the after church, the royals head home for a buffet complete with two turkeys and a flaming Christmas pudding, according to People.

Then, the royals will gather in the saloon for the queen's televised Christmas address before enjoying a three-course meal and a chocolate Yule log.
