'Dumb and Dumber To' Photo Sweeps Internet

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reunited for the sequel to "Dumb and Dumber" with the photos to prove it.

The actors are set to reprise their roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, respectively, 19 years after the original release of "Dumb & Dumber."

On Tuesday, Carrey took to Twitter with the first photo from the set of the sequel, "Dumb and Dumber To."

"How Rowland Rolls comes out TODAY but it may be a little too sophisticated for Lloyd and Harry," the actor posted, adding, "THEY'RE BAAAA[ck]…"

The post referred to Carrey's first children's book, "How Roland Rolls," which did indeed hit bookstores on Tuesday.

Hilariously, the image Carrey posted features Lloyd and Harry holding "How Roland Rolls" upside-down.

Filming for "Dumb and Dumber To" was scheduled to begin on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The sequel is believed to follow Lloyd and Harry on the road as they search for Harry's illegitimate daughter from whom they need a kidney for transplant.

"There are some things that we're going to do in 'Dumb & Dumber 2' that are going to make the toilet scene look lame," Daniels said of the film while speaking to the L.A. Times, referring to the original film.

Meanwhile, Daniels just took home the Best Actor in a Drama Series Emmy Award for his role on HBO's "Newsroom." The 58-year-old actor's win came as a surprise, and he defeated Bryan Cranston, Jon Hamm, Kevin Spacey, Damian Lewis and Hugh Bonneville with the honor.

As for a third season of "Newsroom," Daniels said scheduling issues are delaying filming.

"They're trying to figure out when Aaron [Sorkin] and everybody is available, but I'm hopeful it will happen," he said, according to Access Hollywood.

In the meantime, Daniels is gearing up for his role in "Dumb and Dumber To," and the actor noted the difference between Harry Dunne his character on "Newsroom."

"We start shooting the 'Dumb and Dumber' sequel on Tuesday," he said. "The intellectual free fall from Will McAvoy down to Harry Dunne is going to be jarring!"
